Olive Street Design Launches an Updated Website for Project LPAC

Olive Street Design is proud to launch an updated website for Project LPAC. Project LPAC is centered around increasing LGBTQ women’s civic engagement and political participation. Their mission is to study, compile, and disseminate empirical research about LGBTQ women as a political community, with a particular focus on those who are economically disenfranchised and/or challenged transgender, and/or women of color.

Women, LGBTQ women in particular, are underrepresented at the highest levels of government. There are currently five LGBTQ women in Congress. While this is a record, it’s still less than 1% of all federal legislators, well below proportional representation. Project LPAC’s goal is to share the findings of their research with organizations, corporations and NGOs so that they can be fully inclusive in their efforts to empower and increase the involvement of LGBTQ women in society.
